WHAT SIZE BIN DO I REQUIRE?
For removing hard-fill materials and weekend clean-up jobs, our smaller 2 and 3 cubic metre bins are ideal. They are purpose-built to take hard-fill such as soil, concrete, bricks, stone, tiles, clay, grave, rocks, sand and tar seal. For larger waste disposal jobs, we offer 4, 5, 6 , 9 and 10 cubic metre bins. A cubic metre is roughly the amount that would be carried by a small trailer. If you are unsure as to the size of the bin you require please give us a call. We will discuss your waste disposal requirements and find a solution.
HOW HIGH CAN I FILL THE BIN?
The OSH Regulations laid out by Land Transport New Zealand require bins not to be filled past the rim. Please ensure to comply with this requirement, as for health and safety reasons our drivers are not able to collect bins that are loaded over height or insecurely loaded.
WHAT WIDTH OF DRIVE DO I REQUIRE IN ORDER FOR TRUCKS TO ACCESS MY PROPERTY?
Light and maneuverable, our trucks can access most driveways. We need a minimum width of 2.8 metres. If you’re unsure of your access situation please call us. We’ll be happy to visit your site or property and provide free advice.
HOW LONG CAN I HAVE THE BIN?
Our standard term of hire is five days. Please let us know if you would like to arrange a bin for longer.
WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE PLACED IN THE BIN?
We are unable to accept any form of hazardous waste, including chemicals, waste oil, paint, tyres, fibrolite (asbestos), bulk food waste and bulk glass. We also do not accept large tree stumps. If you have a bin for green waste, no flax or palm type material can be included. If you have any doubts as to the suitability of your waste please give us a call to discuss your options.
